First decide whether the problem can travel safely.

01

Often suitable remotely

Software, settings, accounts, Microsoft 365, guided setup and some troubleshooting.

02

Usually needs hands-on access

Physical faults, upgrades, cabling, Wi-Fi coverage, equipment installation and site-dependent systems.

03

Not started without direction

Do not install tools or grant access until Sam has confirmed the request and explained the route.

Consent and control from start to finish.

  1. Check suitability

Sam confirms that remote support is sensible and explains the tool and purpose.

  2. You authorise it

You start the session and remain able to see and end it.

  3. Private information stays private

Enter passwords or codes yourself; do not send them through the website.

  4. Close out clearly

The work is explained, the session ends and temporary access is removed or closed.

Act with confidence

Could remote support solve this safely?
